What can he do out of the box?
Over 350 commands: apps, music and volume, windows, timers and reminders, weather, web search, WhatsApp messages and your Steam and Epic games. Call him with a key, by his name or with two claps.
What do I need to run it?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and a microphone. About 1.5 GB of disk space, and 8 GB of RAM or more is comfortable: Izem itself uses about 2.5 GB.
Does it need the internet?
Only once, to download his speech and voice files on first start. After that he listens, talks and runs your routines offline. The weather, websites, WhatsApp messages and updates still need a connection, of course.
Is my voice sent anywhere?
No. He listens and speaks right on your computer, and no recording of your voice ever leaves it.
Do I need an account?
No. You get a licence key, and that’s it: no sign-up, no account to keep alive.
Can I change his voice and his name?
Yes. There are three voices, two male and one female. Call him Izem or any name you like, and choose whether he calls you sir, ma’am, by your name or nothing at all.
Will he get in the way of calls, games or music?
No. In a call he stays silent, and anything he has to say waits on screen. While you play, his suggestions wait. Music pauses while he listens, then carries on.
What if he mishears me?
He asks you to say it again. If he keeps missing the same command, he asks once and learns how you say it. Anything risky still waits for a clear yes.
Will there be AI?
Yes, later, and optional: answers to any question and new routines from one sentence. Its requests will be paid separately, only when you use them. Everything on this page works without it.
Which languages?
English only for now. More languages are planned.
Mac or Linux?
No. Izem runs on Windows 10 and 11 only.
